Christine Hunt Daniell of Highfield returns to Nelson in August to speak to our society and promote her new book of Wairarapa personalities reminiscing about their past. It is in a similar format to her other works: Speaking a Silence , Something in the Hills and I’m 95 Any Objections. Her latest title is, Just an Orange for Christmas. Sensibly for a writer she has simply added her husband’s surname to her own so that the link to her earlier works remains.
We wish her every success with this most recent production. Check your programme for August. She will speak in the Tasman District Library at 10.30a.m. on Monday 26th August. You will be able to buy her book after the talk and have it signed. If you have already purchased it, please also present it for signing.
