Saturday 8th March 2.45 Tapawera Re-dedication of WWI military insignia. Meet on the field below the hill. 6.30pm Old Time Music Hall Concert In the Tapawera Hall. Dress in period clothes if you wish. The Nelson Savage Club will entertain and lead the singing.

Tuesday 15th April 1.45pm meet at the Wakefield Village Green. Maryann Mann will follow her February talk with a trip to the original Webby home built in 1858 on the property of A.E. Huntz and first occupied by Alf Webby, his wife and 11 children. From Wakefield we will follow Maryann up 88 Valley to the property, now owned by Jackie Conway. Please bring your own afternoon tea and something to sit on. NB This is a Members Only field trip, but you are welcome to join on the day (subscription only $10.00).
Thursday 29th May AGM at 2.00pm in the Constance Barnicoat Room Tasman District Library. ( We need to elect a new treasurer at this meeting.) Guest speaker: Karen Stade (President Nelson Historical Society) who will speak on her experiences as an author: researching, publishing and the pitfalls she has discovered. Karen will speak first. Afternoon tea will be served and our AGM will follow at approximately 3.30pm.
